AN   ACT TO AMEND THE TWELFTH SECTION OF AN 'ACT, ENTITLED AN
ACT TO INCORPORATE CERTAIN SOCIETIES, ASSOCIATIONS AND COM- No. 4245.
PANIES, AND TO RENEW AND AMEND THE CHARTERS OF OTHER, PASSED
THE TWENTY-FIRST DAY OF DECEMBER, IN TILE YEAR OF OUR LORD
ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR.
I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, now met
and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That
the twelfth section of an Act, entitled An Act to incorporate certain Socie- Act amended
ties, Associations and Companies, and to renew and amend the charters of
others, passed the twenty-first day of December, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, be and the same is hereby
amended in the following particulars, to wit : first, that the said Hamburg
Building and Loan Association shall have power and authority to 'make
loans of money, secured by mortgages upon personal property, or other per-
sonal security, to their members and stockholders, upon such terms and
upon such conditions as the said Association is now authorized to make
loans upon mortgages of real estate.
II. That the shares shall be one dollar each, instead of one hundred dol- Shares.
lars, and that the organization of said Association, and all the actings of
the same, so far as they relate to the amount of each share, be, and the same
are hereby declared to be legal and valid, to all intents and purposes.
In the Senate House, the nineteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, and in the eightieth year of the
sovereignty and independence of the United States of America.

and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That from Qualifications.
and immediately after the passing of this Act, all and every person or por-
sons whatsoever, who' are constitutionally qualified to vote for members of
the Legislature of this State, and who may have resided within the present
corporate limits of the Town of Unionville for one year, and their success-
