That the Act requiring voters to register their names shall be, and the same is hereby repealed. II. That any person attempting to violate the provisions of this Act, or Penalty. any Ordinances which shall be made in conformity thereto, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction, shall be subject to fine and im- prisonment, at the discretion of the Court. TOWN OF HAMDURG, PASSED THE TWELFTH DAY OF DECEMDER, ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIVE. I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and the by authority of the same, That Act amended. an Act entitled An Act to incorporate the Town of Hamburg, passed on the nineteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five, be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars, to wit: That the Town Council of the Town of Ham- burg, shall be and they are hereby empowered to impose, at their discretion, on all dogs, owned or kept by any person, or on his, her or their premises, within the corporate limits of said town, a tax of not less than one dollar, nor more than five dollars.
