such by-laws, rules and regulations relative to the election of Directors and
their successors, and the appointment of suitable officers and agents, and
also such rules and regulations for the government of lot-holders and visitors
to the cemetery, and for the management of the affiairs of the company
generally, as from time to time they may deem necessary. That the said
Elmwood Cemetery Company shall be able and capable in law to sell and
dispose of the above mentioned land for burial lots, and also to have and
hold so much personal estate, and no more, as may be necessary for the

III. That no streets or roads shall hereafter be opened through the land
so appropriated, except by and with the consent of this Corporation.

the cemetery aforesaid, or any fence, railing, or other works for the protec-

aforesaid, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, on conviction
thereof before any Court of General Sessions, be punished by a fine, at the
discretion of the Presiding Justice, according to the aggravation of the
offence, of not less than five nor more than fifty dollars.
