ment, wherein the Defendant has not appeared or put in special bail, shall not
be satisfied by the proceeds of the property thereunder attached, the plea of
the Statute of Limitations shall not be held to bar any suit brought on the
cause of action on which the said judgment is founded, or to any action on the
said judgment in such attachment.

AN ACT TO INCREASE THE PENALTY FOR CONCEALING 01 CONVEYING AWAY No. 2802.
ANY SLAVE ACCUSED OF A CAPITAL CRIME.
Be it enacted, by the Senate and Iouqc of Representatives now met and
sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That in
case the Master or other person having charge or government of any slave
who shall be accused of any capital crime, slall conceal or convey away any
such slave, so that he cannot be brought to trial and condign punishment, every
master or other person so offending, shall forfeit, on conviction thereof, one Penalty.

exceeding twelve months, which forfeiture aforesaid shall not be barred for
want of prosecution at any time within two years after the commission of such
offence.
