CHAPTER XXXI.
AN ACT TO RELEASE THE TITLE OF THE STATE, IN CERTAIN
ESCHEATED PROPERTY, To GEORGE A. TRENHOLM.
SEc. 1. Be it enacted, by the Honorable the Senate and House of
Represontatives, now met and sitting in General Assembly, nidby
the authority of the same, That all the right, title and interest ofInves iture.
the State, to a lot of land on the cast side of Nassau Street, on
Charleston Neck, in Hampstead, of Amelia Dodsworth, late of
Charleston, doccased, a free person of color, be, and the same is
hereby vested in Georgo A. Tronholn, his hleirs and assigns, for-
ever, subiect, nevertheless, to the lawful claim or claims of any
person or persons whomsoever.
