Resolved,. That the following persons be, and are hereby appointed commis-
sioners to approve of public securities, viz:
FOR FAIRFTrLD DIsTRIr. Philip Edward Pearson and James Alston, vice, Gen-
cal Strotier and Colonel Kincaid, deceased.
Fo  LANCesTER DISTRICT. Jaines P. Crocket and Alex. Dunlap, vice, Samuel
Dunlap and Robert W. Gill,.deceased.
Fo  EDOEFIELD DiSTRJOT. Allon B. Addison, James Jones, Whitfield Brooks,
John S. Jeter, C. L. Goodwyn.
Resolved, That the following named persons be appointed Coroners,, viz :-For
Fairfield district, James Marslall-For Marlborough, Alexander Miller-For Ker-
shaw, lalsoni cCaiskil 1-For Chesterield,D])anicl E. Mecaskill-For Union District,
Samuel Davis-For Darlington, George W. Moyc-For Greenville District, Beverly
Bormn.
Resolved, That thre following persons be appointed Trustees to the estate of Dr
John DeLahowe, iii Abbeville district, viz :-llniiry Hester, vice, Thomas W. Wil-
]iamus, resigned-William Lesley, vice, John F. Livingston, elected Treasurer.
Resolved, That the House do agreo to the report. Ordered that it be sent to thq

The committee on claims, to which was referred the petition of Thomnas Walker,
praying payment for a negro executed for burglary, beg leave to report:-That they
have considered the same, and recommeid that the prayer thereof be granted, and
thaLt the sun of one hundred and twenty-two dollars forty-five cents, he appropriated
fbr that purpose.
The committee on claims, to which was referred the petition of Robert Richev,
blacksmithl, for ironing prisoners, beg leave to report:-That they have considered
the same, and recommend ithat the prayer thereof ie granted, and that the sum of
twenty-throo dollars twenty-five cents he appropriated for that purpose.
The committee on claims, to which was referred the petition of Richard E. Tutt
for the benefit of an appropriation, in favor of his intestate, beg leave to report:-
That they have considered the same, and find, that at tie last session of tie legisla-
turn, an appropriation ofsixteen hundred dollars, with interest at three per cent. friom
the first day of January, 1825, was made in ftivor of GqIbric Tutt, for revolutionary
services. That the said Gabriel departed this life, before lie received the said ap.
propriations-That Richard E. Tutt duly admninistered on his estate, and applied to
the treasurer for the amount so appropriated, who thought that from the phraseology
of the appropriation ie was not authorized to pay it to the petitioner :-Your com-
mnittee recommend that the amount appropriated last session be paid by the treasurer
to the petitioner, or his duly appointed agent.
Tire committee on claims, to which was referred the petition of Willinm Cole
prayingrenmuneration for a slave executed, beg leave to report:-That they have
considered the same, and recommend that the prayer thereof be granted, and that the
sum ofone hundred arid twenty-two dollars forty-five cents, be appropriated for that
purpose.
The committee on claims, to which was referred the account of M. Frazier, sleriff
of Edrcfield district, for bringing Peter Williams, a prisoner, fronm Edgefield distriot
to Coltmunia, to receive sentence, beg leave to report:-That they have considered
