sufficient stock of sabres, pistols and hoklers, shall be procured,
each company of cavalry shall be furnished with the same, on
such terms and conditions, and in such quantity, as the Gover-
nor may pieseribe. In like manner, each uniform company of
riflomen and light infantry shall be furuished with appropriate
arms.   Provided, the proportion of cavalry, riflomen, and
light infantry, shall not be greater than may be allowed by law.
