cnce to the treasurer's books, the husband of the petitioner be found a pensioner.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was recommitted the petition of Meshack
Chandler, praying for a pension, recommend, that the prayer of said petition be
granted.
THE Committee on Pensions, on the petition of John Kedd, sen. Report, that they
have had the same under consideration, and recommend to this House that the prayer
thereof be granted.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of Joseph John
Hancock, praying for a pension, Report, that they have duly considered the same,
and recommend that the prayer thereof be granted, and that the said Joseph J. Han-
cock be placed on the pension list.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of James Jonesj
beg leave to Report, that they have had the same under consideration, and recommend
that the prayev thereof be granted, and that lie be placed on the pension list of this
State.
THE Committee on Pensions to whom was referred the petition of Stephen Carter,
Report, that they have considered the same, and recommend that the prayer of the
petitioner be granted, and that the treasurer of the Lower Division be directed to pay
over all the moneys due to WIlliam Carter, a pensioner of this State, at the time of his
death, to his administrator or administratrix.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of the executors of
.ohn Forbes, praying for the arrearages ofpension due to the said John Forbes, at the
time of his death, Report, that they have had the same,undcr consideration, and re-
commendthat the petitioners do receive whatever amount may be ascertained to have
been due to the said John Forbes, at the time of'his decease for arrearages of pension.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of James Eidson,
praying to be placed on the pension list, Report, that the petitioner having established
his claim to a pension by the necessary evidence, they recommend that the prayer of
the petitioner be granted.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of Simeon Perry,
praying fora pension, Report, that they have carefully examined the prayer of the pe-
titioner, and find that they are in compliance with a Resolution of the Legislature,
passed on that subject; therefore do recommend that the prayer of the petitioner be
granted, and that he be placed on the pension list.
THE Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the petition of John Neely,
praying the payment of one year's arrears of pension in advance, and that his name
may, upon the receipt thereof, be stricken from the pension roll, beg leave respectful.

Resolved, That Senate do agree to the foregoing reports. Ordered, That they be
sent to the House of Representatives for concurrence.

praying compensation for a negro executed, beg leave to Report, that they have duty

cents, be appropriated for that purpose.
