THE Committee on Claims to which was referred the petition of James A. Harring.
ton, praying compensation for a slave executed, Report, that they have carefully ex-
amined the same, and do respectfully recommend that the prayer of the petitioner be
granted,,and that the sum of one hundred and twenty two dollars, forty-five cents be
appropriated for that purpose.
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Representatives.

THE Committee of Claims, to whom was referred the petition of Charles Beck,
praying compensation for a negro executed, beg leave to Report, that they have care-
fully examined the same, and find that it is a case for which the law provides; and as
the accompanying documents are satisfactory, they most respectfully recommend that
the prayer thereof be granted, and that the sum of one hundred and twenty-two dol-
lars 45 cents, be appropriated for that purpose.
Resolved, That the Sedate do agree to the report. Ordered That it be sent to the
House of Representatives.

THE Committee of Claims, to whom was referred the petition of R. H. Jones,
praying compensation for a negro executed, beg leave to Report, that they have with
care, examined the same, and the accompanying vouchers; and do respectfully re-
commend, that the petitioner be paid the sum of one hundred dollars and forty-five
cents; and that provision be made therefor in the appropriation bill.
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Representatives.
