mittee therefore respectfully recommend the adoption of the following resolution:
Resolved, That seventeen dollars and forty-three cents be paid to William Kincaid,
and that provision be made therefor in the appropriation bill.
Resolved, -That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Representatives for concurrence.

TIE Committee of Claims to which was referred the petition of William Harris,
praying payment for a jury ticket lost, beg leave to Report, that they have careflly
exammed the same, and do respectfilly recommend that the petitioner be paid the
sun of five dollars, and that the same be provided for in the appropriation bill.
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Representatives.

THE Committee of Claims to which was referred the petition of Nathan Boon,
praying compensation fora negro executed, beg leave to Report, that they have care-
ftlly examined the same, and do respectfully recommend that the.prayer of the peti-
tioner be granted, and that the sum of one hundred and tweny-tvo dollars and forty-
five cents be set apart in the appropriation bill for that purpose.
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Itepresentatives.

THE Committee of Finance, to which was referred the petition bf ',irs. Caroline
Gaillard, praying for the allowance of one quarter of the salary of her late deceased
husband, the Honorable Theodore Gaillard, have had the subject referred to them
under consideration, and find the facts as stated in the petition, and recommend that
the prayer thereof be granted, and that she do receive one quarter's amount of thu
salary of her late husband, and that she be permitted to draw fbr the same, in as much
as the same has already been appropriated.
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
House of Rtepresentatives.

THE Committee on Accounts, to whom was referred so much of the Governor's
Message, No. 4, as relates to the contingent fund, Report, that they have examined
the same, and find the charges therein contained properly vouched; that lie has ex-
pended out of the appropriation of $6000 (six thousand dollars,) the sum of five
thousand seven hundred and forty-seven dollars, eighty-two cents-leaving a balance,
unexpended, amounting to ,%vo hundred and fifty-two dollars and cighteen cent :
