In the House of Representatives, December 10, 1828,
The Committee on Claims, to whom was referred the petition of David Haig, pray.
ing compensai ion for a negro condemned in 1822, beg leave respectfully to Report,
that they have considered the same, and recommend that the petitioner be paid the
sum of one hundred and twenty-two dollars, and forty-four cents.
Resolved, That the House do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
Senate.

Resolved, That the Senate do concur in the report. Ordered, That it be returned
to the House of Representatives.

Clerk of Anderson district, praying compensation for expenses incurred, beg leave re-
spectfidly to Report, that they have considered the same, and recommend that the
petitioner be paid the sum of thirty-one dollars.
Resolved, That the House do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
Senate.

THE Committee on Claims, to whoml was referred the petition of George L. Zeig-
ler, praying compensation for a negro executed, beg leave to Report, that they have
had the same under consideration, and find tile facts set forth in the petition, to be
true: they therefore respectfully recommend that the prayer thereof be granted, and
that the sum of one hundred and twenty-two dollars forty-four cents be appropriated
for the payment of the same.
Resolved, That the House do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to
the Senate.
