TIM Committee on Claims, to whom was refrired the petition (f' Abraban. Peigj
late sheriffofLunester district, praying paymelnt of' a balaince of accounits, have lad
the same under consideration, and recommend that he be paid the sum of' seventy-
eight dollars fifty cents
Riesolved, That the House do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the

Re port, that tiht Iy have collsideredi the same, and reconimend that the Comptroller
General be directed to credit the saiul Hu igh I Craig with tie amount of the said Exe-
cutions, making an aggregate of seveny-t wo dollirs thirty-four cents. They also re-
commend that the presenit Coroner of that district be directed to use all proper dili-
eCeIC' aiid exertion in collecting the afoiesuid Taxes.
Resolved, That the HIouse do agree to the report. Ordered, That it be sent to the
Snate for concurrence.

THE Committee on Claims, to whom was referred the petition of Jesse Gilhert,
prayi 1ng paymi lent for a negro excuted, have considered the case submitted, and re-
spectfiully recommend that the sum of one itindred and twenty'-two dollars be appro-
priated therefor, one half to be paid to Jesse Gilbert, the owner, and the other halfto
Dicy Shirly, the person injured by said negro.
Resolverd, That the House do aigree to the report.  Ordered, That it be sent to the
Senate for concurrence.
