[Soc. 1.] Be it enacted by the Honorable the Senate
and louse of Reyn9esen talives now met and silling in
General .1jsembly, and by the authority of the same,
That Heknry IH. 3acot and William   Roach, executors of
the last will and testament of the said Aim Scott, be, and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to pay over or
deliver the property of the estate of the said Ann Scott to
the persons to whwn it is devised or bequeathed, and to
emancipate by deed, to be recorded in the olice of the
Clerk of the Cou't of Common Pleas for Charleston dis-
trict, the negro woman named Patty and her two children:
.Provide:'d that the said executoras do within one month after
the date of said deed, send the said slaves beyond (he limits
of this State .dad Provided also, that the City Council
of Charleston do give their consent to the said manuimis-

CHAP. 22.-An ACT to amend the Acts for the incorporation of
the State Bank.'
WHEREAS it is frequently found inconvenient to ob-
tain fit and proper' persons to serve as Directors of the va-
Hious monied institutions in Charleston, and the Legisla-
ture have been induced to continue the elegibility of Di-
rectors to the respective trusts:-
[See. 1.]  Be it therefore enacted by the Honorable
the Senate and House of Representatives now met and
sitting in General V;.%semb/y, and by the authority
ofthe same, That from and after the passing of this act, the
present and all future Directors of the State Bank shall be,
and they are hereby declared re-eligible to that trust.
