RE it enacted by the honorable the Senate ard House
of Representatives, now met and sitting in general

the assessors and collectors thoughout the state, ac,
cording to the best of their knowledge and information,
to be paid in paper medium, tbe'notes of the banks of
the state of South-Carolina, or specie,

That any person entitled to any taxable -property or Absen-
estate in thi5 state, who resides without the limits of tcestripl
