Andbeit enited by the authori4y aforesaid, That
the said superinr Wants, or a majority of them,
shall have. powtfx..in the same manner as they are
authorized to bring actions, to make distresie r
arrearages of rent now due, or that may 1eiiwat
beconie due, -or bring an action or actions to re-
cover the same -in any court havitig juridiction.
. And be it fiurther enacted by the authority afore-
Said, Tha't this shall be deemed and taken as a pub-
lic act; and judicially noticed as such, without
special pleading, and liberally construed for carry-
ing the purposes aforesaid into effect.

/n ACT     to make.appropriatiwoisfor the year
one thousand eight hundred andffteen, and for
other purposes therein mentioned.
BE it enacted by the honorable the Senate and
D    Hoise ofRepresentatives, now met and sit-
ting in general assembly, and by the authority of
the same, That the following sums be respective-
ly appropriated for the salaries of the public ofli-
cers, and other expenses ind purposes of govern-
ment
For the salary of the governor, two thousand
five hundred and seventy-two dollars.
For the salaries of secretary of the governor,
four hundred and thirty dollars.
For the salaries of seven judges of the courts
of common pleas, each two thousand five hundred
and seventy-two dollars.
For the salaries of five judges of the court of
equity, each two thousand live hundredand sevcn-
ty-two dollars.
