Be it thetefbre enacted by the lonorable the S--
nate, and Iuse of Representatives, now met and
sitting in genet'al assembly, and by the authority
,f/the same, That the said John Williams shall be
able and capable in law to have, hold and take.by
descent, all such property or estate, of what nature
or kind soever, of which the said Nancy Williams
shall or may be seized orpossessecd ofat the time
of her death, in as full and ample a nanner as if
he the said John Williams had been born in law-
ful wedlock.
In the Senate House, the twenty-first day qf December,
in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hndred
and fourteen, and in the thirty-ninth Year of the In-

An ACT    to make appropriations for the Year
one thousand cirht hundred and fourteen.
I, it enacted 6b?) the honorable the Senate and
Hrouse of Representatives, now met and sit-
ting in general assembly, and by the authority of
the same, That the following sums be respectively
appropriated for the salaries of the public officers,
and other expences and purposes of government:
For the salary of the governor, two thousand
five hundred and seventy-two dollars.
For the salary of the secretary of the governor,
four hundred and thirty dollars.
For the salaries of the six judges of the courts
of common pleas, each two thousand five hundred
and seventy-two dollarsv
For the salaries of five judges of the courts of
equity, each two thousand five hundred and
seventy-two dollars.
For the salary of the attorney- general, for giv-
