.dn ACT to niake appropriations for the year one
thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
E it enacted by the honorable the Senate and
Iouse of Iepresentatives, now met and sit-
ting in general assem61/, and by the authority of
the. sane, That the following sums be respective-
ly appropriated for the salaries of the public ofli-
cers, and other expenses and purposes of govern,
Ilent.
For 'the salary of the governor, two thousand
five huncled and seventy two dollars.
For the salary of the secretary of the governor,
four hundred and thirty dollars.
For the salaries of the six judges of the courts
of common pleas, each two thousand five hundred
and seventy-two dollars, in the whole lifteen thou-
sand four hundred and thirty.two dollars.
For the salaries of five judges of the courts of
equity, twelve thousand Aight hundred and sixty
dollars.
For the salary if the attorne'y-general, for giving
advice to the governior and other public officers,
in matters of public concern, as a full recompenco
for the discharge of all public duties incidcnt to
the office of attorney-general, one thousand dob.

For the salary of the comptroller;general, clerks
and stationary included, as a full compensation for
his services-, three thousand dollars.
For the salary of four circuit solicitors, in lieu o
all charges against the state, for the performance
of every public duty appertaining to their respec-
tive offices, each five hundred dollars, in the whole
two thousand dollars.,'
For the salary of the treasurer in. Charleston,
for transacting the business of the loan  office
and clerks, two thousand six-hundred and fifty-
eight dollars.
For the salary ofthe treasurer in Columbia, int
pluding clerks, two thousand dollars,
