bers of the honorable the House of Representatives.
The COM1'Y1ROLLEa-GENERAL, rc/ectBfully aubmit8 the follo0wing
.Exhibits and Report.
N     O. 1, Shews the receipts and payments at the lower treasury,
.  between the last day of September, 18 I and the first day of
October, 18 12 ; leaving a balance in that office, on the last mentioned
(ay, of one hundred and ten thousand seven hundred and fbrty-eight
dollars forty-seven. cents.
2, Is a like exhibit from the upper treasury for the same period,
leaving a balance of twelve thousand eight hundred and four dolars
eighty-eight cents.
3, Are copies of the treasurer's monthly reports of the lower di-
vision, upon which the exhibit No. 1, isjfountled.
4, Are similar copies of the reports of the upper treasury, upor%
which the exhibit No. 2, is mided.
5, Is an estimate of the public debt on the first day of October last.
6, Is a statement and certificate of the funded debt of this state,
with al the redemptions to the fitst of October last.
7, Is a special exhibit, shewing in a particular manner the taxable
property returned in each collection district of this state, with the
valuation thereof as assessed by the collectors, and the nett amount
of tax produced thereby. The property belong to the several dis-
tricts returned out of them is particularly niotice;d with the tax which
it produces.
8, Is a book illustrative of exhibit No. 7, by shewing the particu-.
lar districts which are debtors and creditors, and the several sums
due by and to them.
9, Is a statement of the Paper Medium Bonds, by which it appears.
that there was a balance due on them, on the first day of October last,
of twenty-six thousand seven hundred and twenty pounds, one shil-
ling and one penny, equal to S 114.514, 40 cents.
10, Is a certificate from  the cashier of the State Bank, shewing
that there was in deposit on the first day of October last, to the credit
of the lower treasury, the sum of one hundred and ten thousand four
Mindred and twenty-seven dollars, four cents, which, with three hun-
