B E it enacted by the honorable the Senate and House of Bepresentatives, now met and sit- ting in general assembly, and by the authority qf the same, That a tax for the sums and in the man- Tnx to be ner herein after mentioned, shall be raised and paid raised. into the public treasury of thisstate, and for the use and service thereof. .And be it enacted by the authority qforesqid, That fifteen cents ad valoren on every hundred 15 cents dollars, be paid iisspecie or paper medium, on all nalo- lands granted within this: state, under the several Lands. regilations herein after mentioned.
