B it enacted by the honorable the Senate and 1oHouse of Representatives, now met and sit- ting in general assembly, and by the authority of the same, That a tax for the sums and in the man- Tax tobe ner herein after mentioned, shall be raised and paid raised. into the public treasuTry of this state, and for the use and service thereof.
