DECEMBER SESSION, 1810.
In the Senate, December 7, 18 1 0,.
WHEREAS, Eliza Ann Anderson did petition at the last sessi-
on of the Icgislature, that a Suit brought by the state against
her 6n a bond given by her late husband, Col. John Purvis, night he
discontinued, which was committed and a report made thereon in
the following words, to wit: That they have considei;ed the sainc,
and reconimenitthat the comiptroller-general be instructed to enquire
into the subject matter contained in thc said petition, and report sp;
cially thcreon, at the next meceting of the legislature; wid that 1i
the mean time all suits or legal proceedings in the premises, should
bb staid. And whereas the comrptroller-general has not made a re-
port.thereon, therefore R    '.cd, That all poceedings in the court.
in behalf of the state against the, said Eliza Ann Anderson, be staik
until the next session of the legislature, and that the comptrollei'
general report .peciallv thereon,to the next session of the legislafire
Resolved, That the Senate do agree to the above resolution. Or
dered, That the same be sent to the House of Representatives fo

dered, That the same be sent to the Hoise of Representatives for
