DECEMBER SESSION, 1805.
In the Senate, December II, 1805.
P ESOLVED, That the eaWlioris to be holden on the second Mon.-
L day in Oober, and on the day following, fwi senators and
members of the house of representatives, shall be holden at the fobl
lowing places, and condu~ted by the following persons, to vit:
For Charleston, including the parishes f St. Philip's and St. Mi-
chael's, at the City Exchange;, managers, Daniel Smith, J. H1. Ste-
vens, Robert Howard and John J. Buow; one seiato to be eleaed
for four years, in addition to the constitutional number of represen-
tatives.
F9'or Christ Church; at the Independent church on thc first day,
and at the Episcopal church on the second-managers, 'ihomas
Jones and Elias Wilden ; the constitutional number of representa-
tives to be elem-ed.
For St. John's, Berkley, at the parish building adjoining to Biggin
church-managers, Bartholomew Gaillard and Thomas BrMughton,
jun. and at the muster house in the upper part of the said ele~tln
distriia, near the Forty-five mile house-inanagers, George Forcher
and Peter R1. Witten. Two days at each place. One senator to be
eleAed in addition to the constitutional noumber of representatives.
Tihe respective managers to meet on the third day at the parish build-
ing, near Biggin church, to count over the votes and declare the elec-
tion.
For St. Andrew's, at the Episcopal church on the Main, and at
the chappel on James Island-to be managed an(d conduaed by the
church wardens at the church, and on the Island by William Roy-
al and Francis Rivers. To elea the constitutional number of re-
presentatives. The managers to meet the day after the eleaion at
the Episcopal church on the Main, to count over the votes and de-
clare the eleaion.
For St. Georges, Dorchepter, at Davis's tavern, near the village
of Dorchester-managers, Isaac Minus and Samuel Prior. At
Harley's tavern- managers, Joseph Koger and Thomas Brotherer.
And at Wimberly's-nianagers, Isaac Bradwell and John Carr.
Two days at each place. To elcaone senator and the constitutional
number of representatives. The managers to meet on the third day
at Harley's tavern, to count over the votes and declare the election.
