two ofices of the treasury, from the Soth Septtember, 1803. to
the Is: of O'ober, 1804, first deistinady stated us thry occurred at
each otce, and afti.wards recaphulated, in a-ggregte, under their
respcedive hcadis; by wihich it appvars, that the aum of 410,353 dol.
lars, 49 c .*ts and 5 ni.ilb, has b-.va recred, and the sum of379,698
dollars, 1o c=,ts and -1 mi.1!, paidi wvithin t0e aforesaid period; leav*
ing, on the last alieve-m:nmoiond day, a balance of.cash in the trea-
surv, of S0.655 dollars,  cc:ts and 4 mills.

exigencies of the ensuin-r year, and the eians which may Ue calcue

24 cents aud four mills, subj.A to the disposal of the legislature la

ending as abort. It is with singular regrt, ho.ugh. in stict obedi.

late trcasurer for Charlestoi, 4t tait time when he vesigned hi's office.
It is believed that this deficiacy has arisen cihidly irom accidints ;
and that it may he madc up, every sepiasbeetaken that asonse
of duty and justice has didalted.
- In obedienice to the act or the session of 1803, the sum of 100,000
