INSTITUTE, IN THE COUNTY OF GATES.
Body politic. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly f tile
State of North-Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the au-
thority qf the same, That Quentin H. Trotinan, Edward
Howell, William II. Lee, William Manning, their associates
and successors, be and they are hereby declared to be a
body politic and corporate, to be known and designated by
the namo of The Trustees of Roynoldson Malo Institute,
situated at Reynoldson, in the county of Gates, and by
that name shall have perpetual succession, and shall hold,
acquire, receive and hold such monies, chattles and lands
as may be necessary to accomplish the purposes of the in-
stitution.
SEC. 2. Be itf uither enacted, That this act shall take of-
feet and be in force from and after the ratification thereof.

Bxtends corpo. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Gcneral A8cmlffy of the
rate Stat of North-larolina, and it is hereby enacted by the au-
thority of the same, That the corporate limits of the town
of Newbern shall be extended as follows, to wit: 13eginning
at the intersection of the present town boundary (Queen
street) with the channel of Neuso river, and running from
thence up and with said channel to a line known in Price's
plan of said town, as the line between Edward Grillilli's and
John Stanly's land ; then with said line running parallel
with Queen streot, S. 590, W. 80 poles to the eastern line of
Dryloro', then with said line of Dryboro' N. 35 O, W. to the
north side of the northermost street of said Difyboro',
known in said plan of the town as Cypress street, tiqu i ith
said north side of said street S. 890, W. to the norhwest
