An Act to incorporate the town of Concord, in the county of Cabarrus. 1850-1851 710 (1850)

Sec. 8. Be it further enacted, That if any of the com-
missioners elected as by this act required and having been
notified thereof ten days, shall refuse or neglect to take the
oath prescribed, for one month after said election, unless he
shall remove out of the limits of said town or be otherwise
incapable of serving, shall be liable to pay twenty dollars to
the use of said town; [for] which forfeiture the county solic-
itor for the said county of Alexander is h'ereby required to
bring suit, in the name of the Coninissioners of Taylorsville,
in the county court of law of Alexander county.
Sec. 9. Be it further enacted, That the corporate limits
of said town are hereby declared to be as follows, viz: Be-
ginning at a stake, the North West corner of said town, run-
ning one hundred and sixty poles Sooth to a stake ; thence
East one hundred and sixty pol-es to a stake ; thence North
one hundred and sixty poles to a shke   thence West one
hiunudred and sixty poles to the heginning.
Sec. 10. De it further enacted, That this act shall bp
in force from and fi'ter its ratification, ann that all laws and
clauses of laws comin in conflict with the provisions of this
act, arc hereby repealed.
