Sec. 2. l1e it farther enacted, That the trustees hereby
appointed, and their successors, shall have power and author-
ity to accept title for, and hold the land including said burial
ground, make rules and regulations for their own government,
and supply vacancies as they shall occur.
Sec.. 3. Be it further cnacted, That any person or per-
S()us who shall commit any wilful tresspass upon the said bn7-
rial ground, either by breaking or otherwise injuring the
tombstones, graves or enclosures crected or to be erected
therein, shall be liable to a penalty of five hundred dollars,
to be recovered by the said trustees and their successors to
be appointed, iif any court laving cognizance of the same,
and to be applied one half to the usc of the county and the
other half to the use of the said trustees.

ted and set free, and by the names of Lucy Selph and Laura
SeIli, shall hereafter possess and exercise all the rights and
privileges which are ehjoyed by other free persons of color
