(he samw, That the several county courts of Craven and appoint.

missioners, to run and cstablsh the dividing line between
said counties, as now fixed by law; and if one county shall
rofuse to appoint a commissioner, the other county siall do
so, and the line ran by the said commis3ioners or commis-
sionor, shall be held and deemed the true dividing line be-
tween said counties.
Scc. 2.  Be it farlhr enacted, That the said commission- Duty anl

AN ACT to protect the Patrol in the county of Onslow,

Soc. . Be it enacted by the General ./lsscmbhy of the State
of Nor th-Carolina, and it is hereby enacted bly the authorifty of the
same, That it may be lawful, after the passage of this act,
for the county court of Onslow, a ujority of the magistrates  to
being present, to lay or levy a tax of not less than twenty. paypatrol.

poll in said county, for the purpose of creating a fund to
pay the patrol of said county; and that their pay be regula-
tod by said court as heretofore, and that the sheriff of said
