That the sale of the several tracts of land, houses and lots in the
city of Raleigh, and negroes, convTyed by the representatives
and dcvisees of the late John laywood, Esqtire, as made by (lte
conmmissioners, Joseph Pickett, James F. Taylor and William
Robards, or by a majority of them, be, and the same are hereby
ratilied and confirmed, except the purchase made by James F*Exceptioii.
