Be it enacted by the General .Alssembly of the State of.Arth-Ca- rolina, and it is hereby enacled bU the authority qf the same, Toat all sales ofslames and linds mad'e by the Sheriff', Cornce, Consta- ble, or by the Clerk and Master in Equity of Buncombe coutity, shall be umade at the Cniit-louse of said county, on the days fol- Jowiug: on th flirsi days of the sitting of the Court of' Pleas and Quarter Sessionis of saiid ouity, to-wit : on the first Moinday of Janmary, an the svcond Mondaynater the fourth Monday in March, on the third Monday of Junie, and on the second Monltay after the lI.urth Monday of Septimber, uid on the first Monday in every other month in every year, under the sine riules and regu- lation, in every other TesIReCI as re (r, mn ay be in'escribed for thie conducting of suclh sales: Provided nevertheless, that if such sales cannot be completed ip ion the days aforesaid, the sales may be ad- jouined to the next day. An Act to repeal an act passed in the year 1823, eittled An actto repeal a, a'ct passed in the year 1818, entitled an act to repeal the firsi sect on ofthe 26th, chapter of the acts of 1791, so fli as relates to the Count-es of lohe;son, Co'urn- bus, Ashe, Richmond, Moore, Duplin, Carteret and Johnstun, so far as the sante relates to the counties of Robeson and Richinond, so far as relates to the County' o Rtobesonl. Be it enacted by the Gencral Jsseinbly of the Slate of .'North-Ca- rolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That th hebfore recited act, be, and the same is hereby repealed, so flar as, relates to the county of' Robeson. CHAPTER LXXXVll. An Act to authorisc Thornton P. Gwyn and David Dalton, of' Stokes County to crect Catesat the places therein imed. Re it enacted by the General .issembly of the State of MnMlh Ca- rolina, and it is hereby enacted by the alhority of the same, That Thornton P. Gwyn and David Dalton, of Stokes county, le, and they are hereby autfiorised to erect aind keep up a gate on each side of the Dan River, across the public road leading to Ladd's Ford, under the same rules, regulations and restrictions as are now, or shall hereafter be plscri'bed by law, in respect to all other public gates in this State.
