posed on the above named commissioners, in like
manner as if there had been no interruption of the
succession therein provided for, and the said act is
hereby revived and put in force. except the proviso
to section four of the same, which is hereby re-
pealed.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the Legisla-
ture may at any time alter, amend or repeal this
act.
SEC 3. Be it further enactcl. That all acts and
parts of acts in conflict with the provisions of this
act are hereby repealed, and that this act shall
take effect and be in force from and after its
passago.

CH[APTER CXXXII.
AN ACT to amend the sixty-fourth chapter of the Rlevised
Code, entitled An act to provide for the punishment of
crimes and misdemeanors.
. SEcTToN 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of
the State of lfississippi, That the term insurrec-
tion, when used in the laws of this State, shall
mean an armed assembly of slaves or free persons,
or both, having intent to resist or subvert the law-
ful authority of the Government of this State.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER CXXXIII.
Resolved by the S(nate, the House concurring,
That room No. 11, in the basement story of the
Capitol, now occupied by the Judges of the High
Con t of Errors and Appeals, be appropriated to
the Auditor of Public Accounts for the use of his
office.  And that room No. 3, now used by the
Clerk of the High Court of Errors and Appeals,
