by law,-   :
Sbc.' 2. Be .it further enacted, That upon the
payment'into the treasury of the said' sims ,so
loaned to said railroads, ;or* of any part thereof,,
whother of principal: or interest, the said suni so'
paid' into the . treasury, shall be equally divided
among the different counties of this state, accord-
ing to the provisions, and oithe terms andtfor the
purposes mentioned in the act of March 16, 1852,
referred to.
SEc. 3. Be it further eniacted. That before any
portion of said sum shall be divided among the
said roads, or the counties, the following sums
what sums due the following named counties, shall be first de-
deducted. ducted, they being the sums due to said counties
under-the appropriations of February 27, 1856,
and of Mitch 16, 1852; as follows,, to, wit:- The
sum of $1198 '20 shallibe appropriated to Wilkin-
son county, $1198 20 to Warren county, $339 to
Clarke county, $339 to Jasper, $339 to Leake,
$339 to Newton, $339 to Pontotoc, $339 to Rank-
in, $339 to Scott, $332 88 to Tunica, $332 88 to
Hinds, $332 88 to DeSoto. $332 88 to Franklin,
$332 88 to Issaquena, $332 88 -to Calhoun, provi-
ded, however, that the sums due, or going to the
counties of Washington, Issaquena and Sunflower,
shall be applied by the board .of police. of said
counties to the opening and. clearing out the Big
Sunfloiver for navigation, from its' mouth to the
mouth of Dougherty's Bayou.     .
SEC. 4. Be it further enacted That this, act shall
take effect and be in force from. and after its. pas-
sage.
