Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That Peter Johnson, guar- dian of Josephus J. A. Johnson, a minor, be, and Power of he is hereby authorized tosell a certain male slave, So the property of said ward, named Levi, and the proceeds of the sale of said slave shall, by. said guardian, be invested for the benefit of his said- ward, under the direction and approval of the Probate Court of Yallobusha county. SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Approved, November 12th, 1857. CHAPTER XLVII. AN ACT for tflrolief of James P.
