each receive the same fees they are now intitled to
charge for similar services, rendered in causes in the
Circuit Courts; said costs to be taxed by the clerk,
and to be recovered from the party cast in the suit.
SEa. 7. Be it further enacted, That no suit shall be
brought under the provisions of this act, unless the
same be commenced within one year from the time
the right of action may accrue.
SEC. 8. Be it ftrther enacted, That the Justice is;
suing the summons shall be empowered at the same
time to issue subpoenas for any witness in said
cause.
SEC. 9. Be it further enacted, That when any writ
of habere facias possessionem shall issue under the
provisions of this act, it shall be the duty of the
Sheriff of said county to execute the same forthwith,
and make return thereof to the Clerk of the Circuit
Court.
SEc. 10. Be it further enacted, That this act
shall be in force fr6m and after its passage.

CHAPTER 356.
AN ACT to be entitled an net to regulate the working of Public
Roads and repairing of Bridges in the counties of Claiborne,
Jefferson and Warren.
SECTION 1. Bc it enactPd by the Legislature of the
Slate of Mississippi, That the Boards of Police
of the counties of Claiborne, Jefferson and Warren
are hereby empowered to employ some suitable per-
sons to supcrintend the roads and bridges, in each
of said counties respectively, and the keeping them
in repair and good travelling order.
SE,. 2. Be it fartir enacted, That whenever
the Board of Police of each or any of said counties
shall determine to employ such superintendent, as is
contemplated in the first section of this act, the Pre-
sident of said Board shall annually give public no-
tice, by advertisement, in some newspaper printed
in the county, of said Board, for two weeks or more
next preceding the spring meeting of said Board,
