LAWS OF MISSISSIPPI.
have in and to any real estate within the State of
Mississippi, in as full and ample a manner as though
he were twenty-one years of age; and any deed of
conveyance thus made by him, in accordance with
the laws of this State governing adults, shall have
the same force and effect as though he had attained
to the age of twenty-one years.
SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect and be in force from and after its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 135.
AN ACT for the relief of Susannalh Sessions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
State of Mississippi, That James H. Bisland of the
county of Adams, in this State, guardian of Susan-
nah Sessions of said county, be, and he is hereby
authorized and empowered to employ the negro
slaves of said Susannah upon his plantation in the
PaAsh of Catahoula, in the State of Louisiana:
Provided, that the said guardian shall annually ac-
count to the Probate Court of said Adams county,
for the value or proceeds of the labor of said slaves
as -the same ma3 be ascertained and settled by said
Court; and at all times hold said slaves, and all the
natural increase thereof, subject to the jurisdiction
of said Court: And provided further, that before
removing said slaves to said plantation under this
act, said guardian shall enter into bond, with good
and sufficient security, and in a penalty of double
the value of said slaves, to be approved by the Pro-
bate Judge of said county, payable to the State of
Mississippi, conditioned that lie will at all times
hold said slaves, and the natural increase thereof,
subject to the jurisdiction of said Court,-and shall
fully account for the value or proceeds of their
labor as herein directed.
SEc. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
take effect and be in force from'and after its pas-
sage.
