nothing for surplusige in, said advertisements not
absolutely required by the laws heretofore requiring
such advertisements to be made in newspapers-any
thing in the last proviso of the first section of an act
passed at the present session, entitled an act authoriz-
ing the Auditor of Public Accounts to settle ac-
counts for advertising sales of Innds sold for taxes,
and purchased by the State, to the contrary notwith-
standyg.
SEc. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

CHAPTER 181.
AN ACT for the relief of the heirs of Charles Perkins.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by- the Legislature of the
State of Mississippi, That Robert McCallough, guar-
dian of the minor heirs of Charles Perkins, late of
Adams county deceased, be, and lie is hereby au-
thorized to remove the slaves of said heirs to the
parish of Concordia, in the State of Louisiana:
Provided, that he, the said RobeA, shall make a full,
fair, and final settlement of his account as guardian
as aforesaid, With the Probate Court of said coun-
ty of Adams: And provided, also, that the said Ro-
bert shall become the guardian of said heirs in the
State of Louisiana, according to the laws of said
State.
SEc. 3. lnd be it further enacted, That this act
