SEC. 3. And be itfurther enacted, That hereaf- Real estate of ter it shall be lawful for the guardians of idiets, when sold. lunatics, and persons non compos mentis, to sell the real estate of such idiot, lunatic, or person non compos mentis, under the rules and regulations now prescribed by law for the sale of real estate by executors, administrators and guardians. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Duty of tax State of Mississippi, That it shall be the duty ofgadcrer. the several tax collectors in this State to demand and receive from all persons deemed by them to be transient merchants, visiting any city, town or county, for the purpose of selling any goods, wares, or merchandize, and from venders of slaves, a bond with good and sufficient security in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, or more, at the discre- tion of said collectors, payable to the Governor of 47
