Resolved, That we will, with heart and hand, sustain the President of the United States, in th6 full exercise of his legitimate powers, to restbre peace and harmony to our distracted country, and to maintain, unsullied and unimpaired, the honor, the independence and integrity of the Union. 4. Resolved, That the Governor of this State be, and he is hereby required to transmit a copy of the last resolutions, with the preamble, to our Spna- tors and Representatives in Congress, also to the Governors of the different States, with a request that the same may be laid before their respective Legislatures.
