Nichol- son, Esq. one of the judges of the Supreme Court of the State of Mississippi have leave of ab- sence from this State from and after he shall have holden the Circuit Court in Lowndes County, in May next, till the first of August thereafter. ApruoVED: February 5th, 1830. CHAP. CXIX. A RESOLUTION concurring with the States of South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia, in the opinion expressed by Chem on the subject of the Tariff, Colonization Society and Internal lmprove- nient. The select committee to whom were referred sundry documents, to wit : A remonstrance to the States in favor of the Tariff, adopted by the Leg- islature of the State of Georgia-the report of the select committee of the Legislature of the State of Virginia on the resolutions of Georgia and South Carolina; and also, thc resolutions adopted by the State of S. Carolina, on tile subject of the Tariff, Colonization Society and tternal Improvenents, having had the same under consideration, beg leave respe'ctfully to report, that having weighed vell the subject matter of said resolutions, they fully concur with said States in the course they have pursued. Your committee deem it needless to enter into a long and detailed series- of argu- ients to prove the soundness pf the policy pur- sued by said Statesj; they, therefore, deem it sufi- cient to acknowledge their acquiescence in the policy adopted by these States, and move the adoptiop of the following resolution :
