AN ACT to authorize William W. Mayes to sell certain Real Estate.
1. Guardian authorized to sell real estate § 4. Disposition to be made of proceeds of

B it enacted by the General assembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows :
§ 1. That William W. Mayes, guardian and curator of the estate of
Sarah S. Pate, be and he is hereby authorized to sell at public or private
sale, either for cash or upon credit, all the right, title, and interest which the
said Sarah S. Pate may hold in and to any real estate lying in the county of
Audrain.
§ 2. Before said guardian and curator shall proceed to sell said real es-
tate or any part thereof, he shall cause the same to be appraised by three
disinterested householders of the county ef Audrain, and said real estate
shall not be sold for less than its appraised value.
§ 3. Before any sale made by said curator shall be concluded, he shall
make a full report of the proceedings, accompanied by the certificate of the
appraisement, to the County Court of Audrain county, for its approval; and
if the same be approved, the said curator shall make a deed conveying all the
right, title, and interest of the said Sarah S. Pate, in and to said real estate,
to the purchaser or purchasers thereof.
§ 4. The money arising from the proceeds of said sale shall be loaned
out at interest by said curator, under the direction and control of said court,
in the same manner and subject to the same restrictions now imposed by law
upon guardians and curators having money or personal property belonging to
minors under their control.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

Property.
Be it enacted by the General .dssembly of the State of Missouri, as
follows:
§ 1. That Charles C. Bunch and Ann Eliza Bunch, his wife, of the
county of St. Clair, be, and they are hereby, authorized to sell and convey
any real estate belonging to them, or either of them, and all the interest
they, or either of them, have in a certain negro man slave belonging to the
heirs of Nathan Tanner, deceased, who was the father of the said Ann Eliza
Bunch.
§ 2. The conveyance of any real estate or slave property by said Bunch
and Ann Eliza, his wife, shall be lawful, and as binding on the said Ann
Eliza as if she was twenty-one years of age.
This act to take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
