That the sales made as aforesaid by the said guardian, are hereby declared effectual and lawful, and when full payment for the lots so sold, shall be made according to the terms of the said sale, the guardian of the said minors shall execute to the piurcliasers thereof deeds for the same, according to their several purchases, which deeds shall be effectual to convoy to the said purchasers, the right, title and interest of the said minors in the lots so sold as aforesaid; Provided, that said connissioners file in the County Clerk's office of the county of St. Charles, evidence of the loss of said certificate of appraisenent, and that said lots were not sold at less than two-thirds of their appraised value. Be it enacted by the General .stembly of the State of Missouri, as follows 1 1. That William Etta C. Ready, on giving bond and security in full, as required by law, in the lioone County Court, as guardian for her minor children, le, and she is hereby nuthorized to sell, publicly or privately, all the right, title and interest of said minors in a certain negro man named Jim, derived from the estate of II. I. Ieady, decnsed, and to make a good bill of sale thereto to the purchaser. § 2. That it shall be the duty of the County Court aforesaid, on her application, to appoint three good men as appraisers, who, after taking the oath usually administered to appraisers of estates, shall examine the negro aforesaid, and fix, as near as they can, the value of the reserved right of each minor in him, and report the saume innnediately to said court in writing. § 3. That such valuation shall be taken as the amount of the interest of each minor in said negro, and she shall, as guardian, charge herself, and account for that sum to each child in her settlement. § 4. That said appraisment, duly certified, shall be filed and preserved with the Clerk of said County Court. 176 This act to take effect from its passage. Approved November 13, 1857. 170 RELIEF,
