Be it enacted by the General 4.ssembly of the State of Missouri, as follows,: 1. That it shall be lawful for David C. Hope, of Cape Girardeau county, who is the curator of Charles R. Ingram, to present his petition to the court, having probato.jurisdiction in the county of Perry, for the sale of a negro boy called William, belonging to said Charles R. Ingram, If the said court having probate iurisdiction, as aforesaid, should be of the opinion that it would be to the interest of said minor, Charles R. RIgram, that the said boy should be sold, the said court having probate jurisdiction in Perry county, may make an order authorizing said curator to sell said boy, William, for the use and benefit of said minor, Charles R. Ingram. Said court having probate jurisdiction in the county of Peiry, shall prescribe' the terms and conditions upon which the said curator shall sell said boy William. § 2. Said boy William shall be appraised by three disinterested householders of the county of Perry, and said boy shall not be sold un- less lie shall bring his appraised value. The said curator shall account for the proceeds of the sale of said boy William, as for the balance of the estate of said minor, and shall be subject to all of the laws of this State, which regulate the proceedings of curators in similar cases, except as far as said laws may conflict with the provisions of this act. This act to take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Approved November 21, 1857. AN ACT for the benefit of John Lynch, former collector of the revenue of Saline county. § 1. John Lynch invested with certain powers to enable him to collect arrearages of revenue in Saline county. Be it enacted by the General .dssembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: S1. John Lynch, Collector of the Revenue for Saline county for the years one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, one thousand eight hun- dred and fifty-three, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, and one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, shall have power and authority to collect any and all arrearages of taxes due and owing in said county for the years aforesaid, and which he may have been heietofore authorized by law to collect, and for that purpose he is hereby vested, for the term of two years from and after the passage of this act, with all the powers conferred upon the collectors of 'the revenue by the twenty-third section of the third article of the act entitled An act to provide for hying, assessing and collecting the revenue, approved March 27, 1845. This act shall take effect from and after its passage. Approved November 23, 185'7. I 1_12 I BENEFIT. -
