Effect of judgment of removal or suspension. 1. No person to exercise the trade or business of auctioneer, without license. 2. Penalty for selling without li- cellse. 8. Blank licenses to be issued. 4. Shall be under seal. 6. To be delivered to the collector, and charged to hiim. 6. County court to settle with eel- lectors at each term. 7. Collectors All grant licenses, on application. 8. Tax to be paid; rates. 9. Clerk's fee to be paid. 10. Residence of six months before application, to be an auc- tioneer. 11. Bond to be given ; condition. 12. Auctioneer may sell without license as vendor of inrchan- disc. 18. Duty on sales; rates. 14. Owner or auctioneer buying, sales subject to duty. 15. Sales of part to fix the price, deemed a sale of the whlo. 16. Free of duty in certain cases. 17. Auctioneers to pay duty to col- lectors. 18. To render account according to the condition of their bond. 19. Clerk to give auctioneer certifi- cate. 20. Clerk to clarge collector, and certify to Auditor. 21. Condition of bond fulfilled, olurk to endorse on the bond. 22. Auctioneer failing to comply with bond, clerk to prosecute hdm. 23. Collector to collect duties im- posed by law, and to prose- cute for fines and forfeitures. 24. License tax may be graduated; proviso. the accused, being served with process, fail to appear, or, ap- pearing, does not require a jury, by the court. SEC. 16.-In all cases of conviction, the court shall pro- nounceo judgment of removal or suspension, according to the nature of the facts found. SEC. 17.-In all cases of a trial of charges in the circuit court, the defendant may except to any decision of the court, and may prosecute an appeal or writ of error, in all respects, as in actions at law. SEC. 18.-Every judgment or order of removal or sus- pension, made in pursuance of this act, by the Supreme Court, or by any circuit court, shall operate, while it cortinues in force, as a removal or suspension from practice, in all the courts of this State. .AIproved November 17, 1855.
