Ie it enacted by the general assembly of the State of lissouri,asfollows:
§ 1. That the auditor of public accounts be authorized to draw his
warrant on the treasury, in favor of Hamilton II. Gamble, for the sum
of one thousand dollars, as, compensation for his services as attorney
in the supreme court of the United States, in behalf of the State of
Missouri, in the case of the state of Missouri against the state of Iowa.
§ 2. This act to take effect from its passage.

§ 1. That Lucilla C. McFarland, of Lincoln county, Missouri, wife
of Marcus H. McFarland, be and she is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to sell, or otherwise dispose of a1 slaves or other property devised
to her by the last will and testament of lie [her] father, John Bell, de-
ceased, without joining with her said husband in such sale or disposi-
tion.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.

He it enacted by the generalassembly of the State of lissouri, asfullows:
§ 1. That all that portion of the farm known as the Sinclair farm,
and belonging to the widow and infant heirs of John H. Gregory, de-
ceased, which was included within the corporate limits of the town of
Canton in Lewis county by an act entitled an act to extend the cor-
parate limits of the town of Canton, and for other purposes, approved
February 28th. 1851, be and the same is hereby ekempt from taxation
for town purposes, any law or ordinances to the contrary notwith-
standing.
§ 2. Said lands shall be subject to taxation for road purposes as other
