Be it enacted by the GeneralvAssemblyof the State of Missouri, asfollowu
§ 1. The Auditor of Public Accounts is hereby authorized and required
to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of this State, in favor of Proston
P. Brickey, late collector of Washington county, for the sum of twenty-
two dollars, being the amountof mileage due said Brickey for traveling
to the seat of government to pay over money, as collector for the years
1842 and 1844.
This act to take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

RELIEF.
AN ACT for tAc relirf of Clarissa W1illiams, a free woman of color.
Clarissa Williams may obtain permission to remain in this State. How.
Be it enacted by the Gencral .Issenbly of the State of Missouri, as follows
§ 1. That any court of this State having cognizance of such matters,
may and are hereby authorized to grant to Clarissa Williams, a free wo-
man of color, license to remain within this State, in like manner as if she
had been born within this State.
This act to take effect from its passage.

The county court of Daviess may grait a  Said free negro, if he fail to give bond,
license to W. II. Harrison, a free negro,  j  must depart the State at the expiration
to reside in this State,       1   of six months,                 2
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State <f Missouri, as follows:
1. The county court of the county of Daviess, is hereby authorized
and empowered to grant a license to William Henry Harrison, a free per-
son of color, to reside within this State, upon said Harrison's giving bond
to the State, with one or more sutlicient securities, in compliance with
the provisions of the twelfth section of an act entitled an act more ef-
fectually to prevent free persons of color from entering into this State, and
for other purposes, approved February 23d, 1843.
§ 2. Should said Harrison fail to give the bond required by law, then
the county court of Daviess county shall permit said Harrison to remain
