I This act to be in force from and after the passage thereof. APPROVED, Jan. 14, 1837. AN ACT, for the relief of William B. Napton. WHEREAS, it appears to this General Assembly, that William B. Napton, failed to deliver the jourinals of the last session of the legislature, to the secre- tary of state, according to his contract with the state, and that by the law thee, and still in force, lie became in consequence of such failure, subject to a forfeiture of one per cent. per day on the gross amount of his contract, and that the secretary of state (lid, in pursuance of said law deduct from the pay of said Napton, the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars and eighty- two cents; and whereas it appears that the failure of said Napton, was occa- sioned by unavoidable occurrences; thezrefore. Be it enacted by thc General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: § 1. That the Auditor of Public Accotnts draw his warrant upon the state Treasurer in favor of William B. Napton for the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars and eighty-two cents, and that said Treasurer pay the same out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. This act, shall be in force from its passage. APPROVED, Dec. 30, 1836. AN A CT, to pay Shadrick Perry, for properly lost in the service of the State. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: 1. That the Auditor of Public Accounts is hereby required to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer for the sum of fifty dollars, in favor of Shed- rick Perry, of Carroll county, and the said Treasurer be required to pay the same out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. This act to be in force from its passage. AProvED, Feb. 0, 1837. AN ACT, to p-y Andrew Ramsey. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: § 1. The Auditorof Public Accounts is hereby directed to draw his war- rant ullon the State treasury iii fhvor of Andrew Ramsey, for one thousand dollars,to be paid out of the three per cent. und, in full payment and final settlement of the claims of said Andrew Ramsey and Michael McLaughlin and John Hall, for making a road across the Big Swamp, in the counties of Scott and Cape Girardcau.
