Whencycr any member, so exempted, shall be discharged by his commandant, his name and place of residence shall immediately be reported to the commandant of the militia compatiy in whose beat he may reside; and also to the sheriff and constable of the township or county. § 18. This act shall not be published among the laws of the present ses- sion; but the Secretary of State shall enter into contract for printing fifteen hundred copies of the same, in pamphlet form, provided he can have the same printed for two hundred and fifty dollars. § 19. SECrION SaCTION County court bull appoint patrol. . . 1I And may determine the number in each company. 2 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: § 1. That the several county courts of this State shall, from time to time, when to them it shall seem proper and expedient, appoint onc or more com- panics of patrols in each township of their respective counties, to continue in oflice one year. § 2. The company or companies thus appointed, shall consist of one dis- creet person, resident of the township for which he may be appointed, to be called the captain of the patrol, and as many others, under his direction, as the county court shall deem it necessary to appoint, who shall severally be sworn to perform the duties to be performed by this act.
