Additional SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly sections. of Maryland, That nineteenth and twentieth sec- tions of Article sixty-six of the Code of Public General Laws, be and the same are hereby amended by the addition of' the following sections to said Article, to be inserted between the twentieth and twenty-first sections: Saleofliquor That it shall not be lawful for any person in this to slaves pro-tas hlblte . State, except as hereinafter mentioned, to sell, give or administer, to any Slave, any spirituous liquor or intoxicating drink; and every person of- fending against the provisions of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall upon conviction thereof before a Justice of the Peace, or Court having criminal jurisdiction, be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars.
