And bp it c.iacted, That whenever any of Fundi =hovthe aforesaid school fund shall have been collected as invested .provided for by the first section of this act, the county commissioners aforesaid shall cause the sanme to be in- vested in the stock of the State of Maryland, or some other well secured stock, for the use of the school commissioners of the county albresaid, and the presi- dent of the school fund of said county, shall, in the annual report required to be made by the act of De- cember session, eighteen hundred and fbrty-one, chap- ter one hundred and thirty-eight, report also the amount of capital fund upon which the interest may be du,! and in arrears.
