WHEREAS, David Robinson, free negro, late of Ca. Preamble
roline county, deceased, hath died seized of certain.
property; and whereas, lie has left a widow and chit.
dren; and whereas, by the circumstances of his case,'
under the laws of the. Stale, his property must' eseheat
to the State, instead of going to his thmily-There-.
fore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly Autholty to
f Maaryland, That tile administrator upon said de-eu
ceased's estato,appointed by the Orplans court of
Clarnline county, be and lie is hereby authorised and
directed to sell aud dispose-of, at public sale, the en.
tire property, real and personal, of said deceased, at a
time to be designated and published, under sanction
of said Orphans court, and within twelve ionths from
lhe time of sale, distribute, un der sauction and direc-:
lion of said court, the proceeds of said sale, aler de-
ducting the legal fees' aud commission, auiong' the
children and widopv of said deceased, in the follo~wing
maner: to the widow, Anna Robinson, the on'e-third
part of the said nett proceeds, and to each of his'ehit.
dren, Charles, John, Eliza, Charlotte, Sally, Margaret,
and Lydia, share and share alike of the remainting
two-thirds of the nett proceeds.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the bond of theAdministratloa
administrator aforesaid be held responsible for the bondtobeheld
faithful performance of the duties hereinbefore as-responuibl
signed hini.                                        /
SEc. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing herein con.lRights /and pri.
tained shall be construed so as to affect the rights orvileges iesirv-
privileges of any heir at law to said deceased.  ad
