SEC. 1.'Be it cncfed by. the General Arsembly jcotar11 1 yl Compay, That a company be incorporated to makea turnpike road, commen-, Commellring cing at the Little Falls of Gunpowder, where the ffAvrcdegra..e and ruwIg, turfn'pik e crosses sairi stream, orat some point on said turpike road,,, which tiley tndk:r all circumstances shall think most advantageous, and runningto the Susquehanna Bridge at Rockrun, in as straight a direction as the nature of the ground and other circunmstances will admit; and from the east end of said bridge to the Maryland line, in a direction to Staunton, in the state of Delaware, crossing North East creek at Gilpins bridge, in as straight a line as the nature of the ground will admit, to be located by the president and manager.4 hereafter'to be appointed under the provisions of this act. - Books open. 2. And be it enacted, That subscription books be opened for a Cad. capital of sixty thousand dollarsi in shares of twenty-five dollais Capital $60,.. 0O. each; and that subscriptions be taken in the city of Baltimore, un. In Cecil county at Port Deposit, under the direction of Thomas L. Savin, Gecirge Kidd, and John Creswell, or any two of them; at the Brick meet- jng house, under the direction of Joseph Harlan, Cy'rus Oldham and William Townsend, or any two of them.
